Mahmood two overs for 23 runs and Karl Brown out second ball hardly suggests that we have a US Cavalry in the seconds to save us. Hurt expensive too . Decent figures for Lester.

Had to smile at the Lancs website report on the T20 match against Warwickshire at Westhoughton: Quote: However some tight death bowling from Bohannon (1/24) and Liam Hurt (1/42) restricted the visitors scoring, who came up four runs short of their target - despite Umeed finishing unbeaten on 67.
Liam Hurt 3 overs for 42, including the 18th over going for 11 runs and the 20th over going for 18. Still, either that's good death bowling by Lancs' standard or maybe just usual casual Lancs' reporting. |
