according to the BBC
"Liam Livingstone, on his comeback from injury, has made 214 not out playing for Cheadle in the North Staffs & South Cheshire League today."
He was playing a their sub-pro. wonder what his rates are?

Easy runs after all he scored over 300 in a league match a couple of seasons ago, time at the wicket though

Still believe he has tremendous ability but think he sees himself as the next KP . I commented on the old Lancs supporters forum that it was a really bad decision to appoint him as captain . At the time I could not think of any alternatives internally but it has not done him any favours.
I saw a lot of him in the second team and he has the ability to graft . On two occasions I saw him get centuries where he really had to work hard in difficult conditions . In the first six times I saw him in the second team he got two centuries and four fifties. To watch him now you would think he would be incapable of that sort of innings . Think to some extent he is a victim of the modern media and the modern age . He did say both on Cricinfo and in the Cricket Paper that he wanted to be a test match player and not be pigeonholed as a one-day player . He definitely did have that ability . Not many one day players could score a century in each innings of a match in really hot conditions in India as he did . I so hope it is not wasted.
Typically dreadful decision by Lancashire not to play him in every first class game last time we were in division two in 2015. He could have gained so much experience there and been at a higher level of development when he came into the first team. He had been ready two years earlier; when I first saw him in 2013, he was one Of those players who make you jump out your seat that you only see a dozen times in a lifetime .

Good post Lancsdes. Think Livingstones problem now is all in his head, when you saw him in the seconds he was a nobody trying to prove he was good enough now he thinks he's made it so the concentration level drops massively, he struts around like he's a film star, he needs to prove again now after a very poor season that he can do it consistently at first class level, we all know what's happened to Hameed after one v good season now Livi has had one good one bad, pressure is on him next season.

Sensibly I think so he can focus on getting his form back when the new season starts.
