Just had 5 of the 10 ipl sides bid for him, bidding finished at 11.5 crore which I reckon is a lot of pounds shillings and pence Round about 1.2 million is that all!
By contrast Finn Allen is sold for 80 lakhs.
Real question for Lancs fans is whether there will be any bids for Saqib Mahmood.
Lancs’ new signing Tim David gone for 8.25 crore

Livingstone , like Buttler will be just a footnote in Lancashire cricket history. Am far sadder about the former than the latter partly because he is a Lancashire man and partly because he had such a good all round game at an early age.

I've always agreed with you over his all round game when he first came through the seconds, and even his first year batting at 7 in the first team. He had, has so much talent.
Where did it go wrong? When he was appointed captain?
But would have to disagree with you, he is Cumbrian.

I work to the pre-1974 counties Chris. Barrow was in the Furness district of Lancashire as was Coniston and part of Windermere. Sedbergh was in Yorkshire and still is in my book just as St Helens is in Lancashire and not Merseyside.

But most up here claim him as Cumbrian, just as they do Ben Stokes and Jordan Clark etc. And I doubt many people born in 1993 work to the old boundaries. But I don't have a problem with either Rainford or Southport the two places I most associate with within Lancashire now being in Merseyside.

I don’t know enough about where Jordan Clark was born though know he was at Sedbergh School but I always associate Stokes with the area that was Cumberland. Would never try to claim anyone from that part of the world outside of Furness as Lancashire.

He and his brother Graham who's at Durham are from Cleator, technically as with many West Cumbrians born in Whitehaven because that's where the hospital is. Bit like Angus Fraser being born in Billinge.

I wouldn't put the mortgage on it. Worcester have rested both Mo Ali and Dwayne Bravo. When will the lesser spotted Jos be back??

Does anybody know why Liam Livingstone isn't playing in the current game against Gloucestershire?
I am assuming that the ECB want him rested but, his next England game will be the T20 against India on the 7th July so that doesn't make sense to me.

Maybe the ECB don't want him to get into any red ball habits, unlike Bairstow? In passing I heard the other habitual absentee played in a charity match the other day. Hope he didn't get injured!
