I would hope he has been, if only for his white ball cricket. I wrote him off at the end of 2017 but he did a decent job in 2018

The lack of announcement possibly due to: a) it was renewed for two years, and they thought members/supporters would be surprised by the length; or
b) it was renewed for only one year, and they thought members/supporters would be surprised when other players were given two extra years; or c) they thought they had released details and then they forgot
d) some other reason, like it's an Official Secret

btw in 2018:
two half centuries in 8 championship matches. 276 runs at 21 (7 overs no wickets)
top score of 30 in the T20 in 9 innings strike rate 112 (3 wickets in 11 overs in 13 matches)
top score of 33 in the RL50 in 4 innings strike rate 63 (did not bowl)

Not the best stats but he has proven to be a handy backup option. By no means would I want him in the first choice XI in any format.

Well he is playing for us in Mumbai at the moment so he must definitely be signed to something, but looking at the others there only as a back up player.
