“I believe next year’s first division seeded so the top 5 in this year's championship (Essex Som, Hants, Kent, Yorks) play each other once either home or away, the bottom 5 ie 6th & 7th this year (Warks, Surrey) plus the three promoted teams (Lancs, Northants, Glos) we play twice.”

Interesting doesn't make it easier to stay up, only playing the "bottom" sides once but the top sides twice.
Wonder where Somerset will play Essex which dust bowl?
