Looks like congulations due to Jack Morley for being the only Lancashire player not to put themselves into the Hundred draft, one or two others could have safely followed his example: www.thecricketer.com/Topics/news/the_hundred_draft_2019_player_entry_list.html72 "domestic" places available at this stage and over 330 "domestic" players most are bound to be disappointed on Sunday. Why enter the draft, if you aren't in your own county one day squad - are you likely to be drafted by one of 8 franchises? |

MCC v Essex will be in Sri Lanka for the Champion county match
Derbyshire have signed South Africa-born fast bowler Michael Cohen on a two-year deal.
Left-armer Cohen, 21, qualifies for EU citizenship and has played 15 first-class matches for Western Province.
"Michael is a really promising bowler and we were keen to get him on board for all forms," Derbyshire head of cricket Dave Houghton said.
"He has a good record in South Africa and players will be given a chance to fight for a place in the team."

I’d still rather have a pitch like that than a 400-1 pitch. |
