Can't see why Mahmood would go unless he wants to go back home, he is from Brum. Depends on money as always!

Surely we won’t get many games out of him Exile even if he’s fit?

True: he's on the fringe of the England set-up. I suppose it depends on what happens to the rest of the injured group. Rather worrying that so many fast bowlers are succumbing to stress fractures.

And if England can find someone else to use. Glad he's signed anyway.

And if England can find someone else to use. Glad he's signed anyway. Agreed, I’m glad he signed. Found his insight when guest commentaries very good. Strange thing is that he only has an England Pace Bowling Development Contract, which can’t be financially better than his County contract. So I never understood why Warwickshire were going to sign him, if he’s fit he plays for England, during most of the rest of the season he’s rested under the terms of the Pace Bowling Developmetn Contract. Some of the rest of time he might be injured. I can understand why Lancs want to keep him as they have developed him since he was about 15, but it would be a bit risky for Warwickshire to sign and pay a player who might hardly ever play for them.

Also pleased that he's staying, one of our own and all that.
Warwickshire may have been interested in terms of the demographics of their first team squad which aren't reflective of their local communities. Probably feel they have work to do in terms of community engagement. There was some bad press from the Test match and also Bresnan was on their books until recently, nothing proven but he didn't come out of the Azeem Rafiq affair very well.

Anyone know what this means?
Heading: "Lancashire and England fast bowler Saqib Mahmood has joined a travelling delegation to Dubai this week to activate at the Emirates Dubai Sevens."
or within the article: .....The organisations have worked together on a number of activations over the years.....

Sounds like the sort of thing that Peter Moores would say .

Sounds like the sort of thing that Peter Moores would say . Sounds like the kind of thing that people say who live in, and are speaking exclusively to others who live in their own Marketing.com world. It has nothing to do with cricket or saqib's fitness. Only refers to marketing brand campaigns.

Probably a silly question , but have we been given any information about the extent or the expected length of Mahmood’s latest injury?
