Does anybody know what Liam Livingstone's injury is and how serious? He wasn't fielding today.

".... Thought Warwickshire batting quite negative they made a half-hearted attempt to get the 3rd batting point but failed. "Warks started the day with three wickets down and needing 41 runs from 23 overs to get to 300 and another batting point. This should have been quite possible and maybe a chance of getting to 350 but Burgess and Lamb are in the Sibley mode of batting..very cautious..... Lamb's 36 took 123 balls and Burgess's 26 91 balls. With the even colder weather and the cautious approach made today more like April when teams are anxious to avoid defeat above all. Bohannon impressed me today. Livingstone hasn't taken the field which is a concern.
Though he did come back on yesterday after the injury. Maybe got worse overnight?

It should be a nailed on draw but we aren't half way to the follow-on figure yet so if we were to lose two or three early doors it might set the nerves jangling a bit. If Livingstone isn't available we'd have about a dozen fewer runs.
Looking like a certain win for the Yorkies and probably Notts, if the Somerset innings collapses again.

Lunch at 215 runs; Session good for Lancs 115 runs at 3.7 rpo but may not be possible to set a score and have time to bowl Warks out. Bad light may also shorten this game....

It's going to be a draw, I think we are playing for bonus points.

Massive disappointment. Wish he would hash off to pub cricket for good. I’ve given up the hope I had from the first ball I saw him play that he was a certain Test player. Normally I would be really hoping to see him on my Taunton trip but I really don’t care now.

He clearly has talent; I wonder if now that he knows all the franchises around the globe are interested in him, he just isn't bothered about trying to construct an innings of any length as he can become a millionaire anyway.
What about Rob Jones? He got a second baller today, which can happen to anyone. But this is his sixth season of first team cricket, can anyone say that he is progressing?

Livingstone's dismissal, caused by a poor misjudgement, effectively ended any chance of out-batting Warwickshire. His great natural talent doesn't seem to be allied to anything resembling a brain and at the moment he's not worth his place in the side. Wells would back up Parkinson better with the ball.
I expect Lancs to make life hard for Warwickshire in the morning and for the game to peter out in the afternoon.

From the Bears site
Lancashire’s Josh Bohannon scored a brilliant 170 to steer his side towards a share of the points with Warwickshire as this opening Division One clash prepared to enter its final day heading towards an inevitable stalemate.
The 24-year-old batted from the start of play until just before 5pm in compiling his second century of what is becoming a memorable 2021 for the Boltonian whose season average now stands at 66.27 – numbers that are inevitably prompting talk of an England call up of some kind this winter.
Bohannon’s efforts saw the Red Rose bowled out for 341 after resuming day three on 100 for one meaning they trailed the visitors by just 30 runs with Warwickshire grateful for Liam Norwell’s six for 57 as they faced a tricky period of 19 overs before closing on 52 for one with a lead of 82 runs.
The day had begun well for Warwickshire when Luke Wells was brilliantly bowled by Norwell for 45, ending a second wicket partnership of 109 with Bohannon.Wells’ wicket brought skipper Dane Vilas to the crease and the South African proved a perfect foil for Bohannon, hitting five fours and a six on his way to a breezy 67, before he was caught at second slip by Rob Yates off Norwell.
That proved to be it in terms of meaningful scores for Lancashire with only Liam Livingstone reaching double figures of the remaining batters all of whom failed to deal with Norwell and the accurate spin of Danny Briggs. First Rob Jones was trapped in front by Norwell without scoring before Livingstone’s cameo lasted just 14 balls during which he struck three boundaries and left a straight one from the same bowler.
Not long after George Lavelle became Craig Miles’ only victim when he was lbw for four with Danny Lamb bowled by a Briggs beauty for eight. Tom Bailey, Saqib Mahmood and Matt Parkinson all did their best to support Bohannon who was four short of his highest first class score when he charged down the wicket to Briggs and was stumped with the former England spinner finishing with three for 78.
A fired up Mahmood continued his fine form from the first innings in clean bowling Yates for one before Dom Sibley and Chris Benjamin settled any nerves as the clock ticked down.

Saqib superb again from what I’ve seen. Useless dead wicket which will at least contribute to making him a better Test cricketer when he gets the chance as Test cricket is often about bowling long spells and often undeservedly getting no wickets.
Bohannon proving me right where Livingstone has proved me wrong. If Bohannon played for Surrey and Pope for Lancashire, the former would be in the Test team.
