Should be a points deduction for that Oval pitch as well as the Chelmsford ; two opposite extremes but both equally unacceptable.

Warwickshire have bowled extremely well but Somerset's tactics last night and this morning just showed how badly the captaincy has frazzled Tom Abell's brain. It was no surprise that he got out to an appalling shot. Warwickshire are going to win easily. We lost our own chance by messing up so badly at Nottingham.

Somerset have never shown any backbone when they have had a chance of winning trophies for themselves we shouldn't have expected anything less than this pathetic capitulation from them.

And the none points we would have picked up against Yorkshire Although it may seem like sour grapes, I don't think teams should have been allowed to carry forward any points from the earlier rounds. It was just a device to get around the fact that the ECB wasn't allowing the time for more than four matches. |
