I'm pleased we are going back to two divisions but don't like the 10x teams, 14 games thing. Think it gives you advantage/ disadvantage if you play a weak/ strong team twice. Would have preferred 9x teams per division and 16x games.

Dismal news about Aigburth as it is about no Scarborough and no Taunton. I went to the Merseyside Crcket Society talk the other day where we had Craig White and Stephen Parry and there was gloom from all parties about the future of real cricket. To his credit, SP said that April May and September cricket was bad for the game even though he used to like playing then as you could get lbws from the ball speeding on. Ironically, I thought Parry was an excellent one day bowler who wanted to be more and his one day bowling was ruined by Lancashire making him first choice four day player.

Very disappointed with the lack of championship cricket at the weekend after June. I might be able to get to the odd day during the week but it seriously impacts on the ability to get along. Thursday starts are great, Sundays not bad. But starting games on Mondays and Tuesdays, it's just a killer.

Completely agree Oldham Exile. I’m quite looking forward to 3 weeks of watching cricket in succession in July. Lancashire v Somerset at Southport, Somerset v Yorkshire at Taunton, and Yorkshire v Hampshire at Scarborough. Yes, I would prefer to be watching Lancashire at Taunton and Scarborough but you have to take what little you can these days.
