What a waste of time.
First game: Salt 7, Vilas 0 from 2 balls. But Rob Jones 76 from 53 and George Bell 36 from 28. Fielding out first ball, hope he does better on Sunday for Cumbria! Hurt goes at 15 runs an over.
Second game: lasts 4 overs before being abandoned Vilas and Jones at least batted a while, otherwise 2nd team regulars.
Bet they learnt a lot.

Why would you work in communications if you are unwilling or unable to communicate effectively? The entire comms team seem to have been recruited from GCHQ.
Back to Lavelle, he has not played for Ormskirk either, neither and as far as I know has he appeared for another county on loan or on trial. Boyden has played for the under 18s without bowling, would suggest they are both injured. |
