The decision not to mention the injuries may be or at least I would guess is deliberate and be down two factors:
They intend to play them despite their injuries; or
They don’t want Yorkshire to know that they are under strength.
Neither is clever imo.
Their preview, which is often wrong, says Brook is with England, yet wisden tweeted he is available to play T20 this week: of course they already have done, so may both be ruled out tonight. The same tweet, of course is silent on Buttler.

Still no announcement about any possible replacement for Hassan Ali. Pretty sure Vilas is classified as overseas this season so Tim David is in effect the Ali replacement. He's never played a first class game however so assuming he won't debut at Edgbaston. An overseas seamer would be useful although very short term signings often don't work out. |

Two late changes to the Tykes squad. Malan and Kohler Cadmore in for Allen and Brook. We know that Brook is on top form at the moment but they are two very handy replacements |
