I really welcome the change with the new regime that players released from the Test squad, like Parky, are available for selection by their counties. Particularly young players like Parkinson and Brook that will benefit from more cricket.

So Wood, the other injury doubt for the Roses match joins Livingstone resting / recovering, prior to his trip to Amstelveen. But Salt doesn’t so it is much more likely to be to do with allowing them both to gain full fitness prior to that trip. Still Lanacshire have to get used to being without them both for the next few games so what difference is one more match?

On Durham's stream seems to be using 1970's early colour TV cameras Yes it's looks a bit flakey wasn't sure if it was the live stream or my ropey Internet connection. Currently watching the stream and listening to Scott Read's commentary. Got to say the Lancashire stream is the best I've watched. |
