Tie
We may have a much vaunted batting line up but away from OT this bowling will not win us matches

Yorkshire need about 10 more than they did the other night, when they cruised home with around two overs to spare. It would be good to remove young Master Brook quickly! That’s assuming he even gets in of course. Well we did get rid of him...............................just in time! I read on the Digital Spy forum that there was some sort of no-ball issue, presumably one called when it shouldn't have been. This was about 20:15 when Yorkshire would have been batting. Did anyone see it? Was a boundary scored off the extra ball, or something like that?

As cock up go this is a classic Do you mean by Yorkshire? With only three down I thought they were going to stroll home.

Tie We may have a much vaunted batting line up but away from OT this bowling will not win us matches doesn’t help with Vilas and Livingstone dropping catches.
Presumably, Buttler will replace Croft for maybe half a dozen games before joining Livingstone and Parkinson in the ODI matches coming up in the second half of June.

Parky should have bowled four overs.

Parky should have bowled four overs. Yes - considering that our strategy at OT has been the same for years (make the field as big as possible, bat first and rely on the spinners to induce catches on the boundary) it is baffling that our best spinner didn't bowl his full allocation. That said, the two dropped catches were the real reason we didn't win. We can't afford to drop points at OT because at away grounds they will bring in the boundaries to nullify our spinners and, with Mahmood out, we don't have enough variety in the seam bowling to counter this.

Re The Rosese clash. The draw was one of those results where both sets of fans went home disappointed in the end. I thought we were a few runs light with our total (even though history will show that it was a great score for OT).
Villas cocked up the bowling for sure. Our best T20 bowler only bowling 3? Shocking really!!! Never a no ball though in the final over though . .that effectively meant we did not win (though as always you can point to several incidents in a game which would have been the difference between winning or losing, or even tying).
I agree with what has been posted here, with our bowling attack we are not going to be defending many totals away from home so we need to be taking full points at home.
Does anyone know if Jos Butters is ever going to be showing up for Lancs at all this year?

Does anyone know if Jos Butters is ever going to be showing up for Lancs at all this year? He's not in the England team for the first two tests so I hope he'll be playing for us next week!
