Seems a long time since we last won at Trent Bridge in any form of cricket. The last win I can think of at Trent Bridge was around 2010 when Ashwell Prince, (playing for Notts) was out very late on and we won by a handful of runs. It was a televised midweek game, so presumably a T20. A recollection of a decent win in the longer game has just come back to me, maybe around 2016. As you say though, our overall record in recent times seems pretty poor.

Strike rates after first two matches: David 220 Hartley 200 (from 3 balls) Salt 166 Lamb 155 (from 9 balls) Jennings 145 Wood 133 Livingstone 132 Croft 81 Vilas 72
Same 14 to choose from. So no Buttler, no Lavelle. No word on either's availability. Will they play Wells rather than Croft?

That's quite stark isn't it, in respect of Croft's S/R. Wells' career S/R also in the 80s, from just 10 innings so presumably not his game. Croft's career S/R is 122, too early to write him off?

Good chance of rain interruptions until halfway through so could be a DLS lottery. Was going to go but weather not tempting. Seems a long time since we last won at Trent Bridge in any form of cricket. We won a CC match at Trent Bridge in early May 2018 Exile. Jimmy and Onions did the damage with the ball and Jennings anchored the batting with an excellent ton. The game was over before lunch on the 3rd day, I remember it well because the missus and me paid £17 each for around 90 minutes play!

Lancs squad for a few T20 matches plus the CC game away to Warks has been seriously weakened with the announcement of the England 50 over squad to play Holland. Buttler, Livingstone, Salt and Wood all selected. God knows what the bowling attack will look like at Edgbaston, Bailey, Blatherwick, Lamb, Hurt?

Would imagine Lavelle will get a go at 6 with the gloves if fit

Livingstone out played by Jennings at the moment. Losing his wicket at 30 from 25 balls, too many dot balls swinging and not connecting, whereas Jennings is on 42 from 27. If DLS comes into it, his wicket could have a big effect. Already in second rain break, the half hour before overs deduction can't be far off. DLS needs to stop allowing a 10 over slog for the second team with all 10 wickets in hand.
