When Starc bowled Tagenarine Chanderpaul for 45 in the Windies 2nd innings, he got 51 in the first innings in an impress debut, Starc became the first bowler in Test history to dismiss a Father and his Son.
Surprised at that, thought it would have happened before.

Technically there's the old joke about Javed Mi an dad Funny you mention Javed Miandad, one of the finest players of his generation, not great on the eye but a true fighter, anyho was looking at some old scoreboards in a cricket quarterly from the 70's a few days ago and remembered his clash with Dennis Lillee, it was actually on the news that night, I always thought that was the incident with the aluminium bat, but turns out that was the following year, and I should have remembered that because it was Lillee throwing the bat off the square. |

Hadn't realised until England were on the verge of victory that if Pakistan had scored the runs needed, and it was 50/50 they would an hour after lunch, it would have been the first time a side had scored 600 in their first innings in Test history, and lost.
Apparently Bangladesh declared on 595-8 in Christchurch 2017 and lost is the highest.
