All out...another one to WW....conditions favouring Lancs this am but WW's innings a critical factor in our win. Surrey won't be happy to hear that over the river at Lords they have gone off for rain..

What a win! Surrey undone by their overconfidence last night but also by absolutely superb bowling by Bailey and Williams. Never been happier to be wrong about the outcome of a match - thought Surrey would walk it when we were effectively 27 for 4. Delighted (not) for the smug Surrey commentators!

First defeat for Surrey in the CC this season. 1st 5 wkt haul for Bailey this season and Williams 61 was more than he scored in his previous 6 innings in the CC this season.

They were still mouthing off about their batting after the game ended.
I hardly watched/listened much after the 1st day on Sunday - stupid job getting in the way! I thought we were slumping to a bad defeat, and their comms were annoying. Did Scott Read not do any commentating? It's so much better when you have them from both sides which happens for most matches.

Completely agree. They managed to sound astonished last night and this morning every time Lancs took a wicket. Amusingly, almost every wicket fell just after one of the Smuggrey commentators informed the audience of how well set the relevant batter was!
I see the dozy Lancs website hasn't caught up with the victory yet.

Yes - definitely the most exciting game of the season so far. Surrey will be wondering why they lost by over 100 runs in a game they had mostly bossed. I hope Lancs will still look at what they could have done better (quite a lot, in my view) and won't let a brilliant win gloss over their mistakes.
