England's next match is against Afghanistan, but, IMHO, Afghanistan should be suspended from the ICC for banning women's cricket. Whilst I don't believe that you should use sport to make overall political points, this is a specific cricket issue, very similar to South Africa when they banned D'Oliveira. Credit to Australia for cancelling bi-lateral tours with Afghanistan, although I see they are playing them in this World Cup. |

England lose to Afghanistan I see their bowler - off spinner - who took three wickets - has played T20 for Hampshire and Middlesex as well as the usual franchises. Likewise the opener with the 80 from 57 balls has played IPL plus CPL etc . I wonder if a cash strapped, debt reconfigured Lancashire might be tempted by one of the Afghanis?

I would imagine Gurbaz in particular would be highly sought after in T20 and his career bio bears that out, he's already played IPL and the Carribean Super Slog.
