I was there at the 20 all out Chris. Really day with a few great pints with Oldham Exile afterwards. I ended up just wandering around thinking how did that happen, before realising I should just go home.
game was completely balanced when Katich was out, more or less par 8 down, then Hogg, Chapple & Kerrigan added 120. The rest as they say is history.

Three lost tosses out of three. Wasn’t it three or four years ago when Vilas lost goodness knows how many in a row and we joked someone else should be sent out to do the honours?

Losing both openers to a mediocre medium pacer probably wasnt the start they were hoping for.....

Losing both openers to a mediocre medium pacer probably wasnt the start they were hoping for..... The return of the dukes ball pays dividends? The thing is Snater only came on because Wells had smashed Porter all over the park the previous over. It absolutely threw it down for a good 20 minutes at lunch, dark threatening clouds are still hovering above. If there's no more rain there's a possibility of a restart at 14.30 but another heavy shower is forecast soon. If it misses the ground we could be clear for the rest of the day. |
