The last throw of the dice in our valiant attempt to avoid the drop scenario win game get full bonus points and hope Notts do not get five points. Not going to happen so let's just enjoy the last drama of the 2018 season. No news on the website about really anything least of all team selection

The last throw of the dice in our valiant attempt to avoid the drop scenario win game get full bonus points and hope Notts do not get five points. Not going to happen so let's just enjoy the last drama of the 2018 season. No news on the website about really anything least of all team selection interesting squad of 13:
Liam Livingstone (c), Tom Bailey, Josh Bohannon, Alex Davies, Richard Gleeson, Brooke Guest, Keaton Jennings, Rob Jones, Toby Lester, Saqib Mahmood, Matt Parkinson, Stephen Parry, Dane Vilas.
no Brown, no Croft article doesn't mention either. Previous article said no new injuries. Both are out of contract this year. Both likely to have played their last game for Lancashire. All assuming it is wise to beleive anything written on the website. Lamb also dropped and may be on his way, is also out of contract, or may be they decided his selection was too early at this stage.
no Onions either! As above: article doesn't mention him. Previous article said no new injuries. I hope he has not been left out due to comments after the last match. Perhaps a website error?
no Clark as expected.
Mahmood hasn't really played since the students game at the season start (2 overs for the seconds before injury reoccurence). Would be a risk. Parry also to miss out? Guest to make debut?
Website says Maharaj has returned to South Africa. Website previously stated signed for the remainer of the season specifically "for the remaining four Specsavers County Championship matches".
I guess they know they are relegated.
Ironically, just noticed tweet referring to the website preview is a piture of Graham Onions. I guess Chapple and Allott are so full of secrecy they don't even talk to their (non cricketing) colleagues.

Maharaj gone home no Onions and no hope Indeed. Why are we not told the reason?

Maharaj gone home no Onions and no hope Indeed. Why are we not told the reason? Because the person writing the article:
a) doesn't know themselves b) think they can get away without mentioning it c) doesn't think an explanation matters (a view shared by the county's selectors)
d) all of the above

Bailey and Parkinson not picked strange in a game we wnned to win. Don't think anything on website is because no one seems to know what's going on, think they just put all players in a hat and draw for who's playing. If things don't change we will not get out of div 2 next year.

Worcestershire will be no mugs they strike me as having a pretty good seam attack and dominated us for all but the last two sessions at Southport and beat us at Worcester. Middlesex will be contenders and Sussex with the second year of Gillespie will also be up there with a shout . Leicestershire might be at our level next year.

I have heard nothing about the wicket but I strongly suspect we will not get a first-innings lead.

Yorkshire safe just between us and Notts be ironic if we go down by 1 point due the deduction we had at OT v Yorkshire
