Regarding the SGM. I don't see a significant difference between Resolution #1 and the club's position. Resolution #1 is asking for an SGM and vote before the club agrees to a reduction in the number of county championship fixtures. The club has said that the members will get a vote before the club agrees to any changes, it would be sensible for there to be a meeting whether it's a SGM or Forum before any vote.
Resolution #2 is asking for improved communication between the club and it's members. I certainly can't argue with that.

The Club asks you to please vote AGAINST these Resolutions, click here to find out more.
Surely that is wrong, isn't it the Board or the Management? The Club must be wider and include the membership as a whole?

You may get two options neither of which are satisfactory

It doesn’t say what the vote will be on. You may get two options neither of which are satisfactory The vote is either to pass one or both of the resolutions or reject them. If you think neither is satisfactory then that should be a vote against or abstain...it is up to you. From my point of view all I have received is the LCCC postcard asking me to vote against but not the forms to let me do so.. I suspect that if I ever receive the forms I will vote for the 1st and possibly abstain on the other resolution...

Three leagues of 6 12 games so we have gone from playing some sides once to playing two sides three times

Three leagues of 6 12 games so we have gone from playing some sides once to playing two sides three times Presumably that will not get through most counties as some are simply against any reduction in the first class fixtures.

But you will not be able to vote against, it will be one or the other.

Three leagues of 6 12 games so we have gone from playing some sides once to playing two sides three times What a farce....don't like the idea of play offs for relegation/promotion..just asking for more Essex type result wickets. My forms finally arrived so voted FOR the 1st and abstained on the second. Hopefully the form will reach them by Wednesday...
