Yorkshire are 33/6 v. Hampshire
under other circumstances that might be funny.

One of those really frustrating day's when you don't know whether to stick or twist. I'd be driving from Preston and if they could get around 2 sessions in then I'll drive through. But there's always a but with the British weather!

Yorkshire are 33/6 v. Hampshire under other circumstances that might be funny. Yes, Des was right to say that Yorkshire wouldn't give Hampshire a game. What on earth persuaded them to bat first in conditions absolutely made for Hampshire's pace attack? Stopped early for lunch because of a shower and, if the forecast is right, they won't get back on much for the rest of the day but it won't make any difference in the long run.

50 overs weather permitting. Using the pitch used in the South Africa ODI. Yorkies fighting back - 100+ partnership Bess & Fraine...

6.15pm play abandoned for the day....just the 34 overs...so 104 tomorrow. Croft continuing his good season. Hopefully we can graft to 200+
Vilas has broken his knuckle so will be out of action for a few weeks...

Lost four wickets in just 34 overs so need to dig in tomorrow. On the other hand we have scored quite fast and 250+ might be a good score on this pitch, especially as Kent have to bat last. Difficult to blame Bohannon and Wells, both of whom got pretty unplayable balls, but Jennings played a bit of a nothing shot. Surely this is the end for Jones, unless he comes up with something in the second innings.

Lancs lucky if they get 1 batting point here the way its going. Hopefully we bowl well/Kent bat poorly.

Need to hope this is a low-scoring thriller. Conditions are going to be as hard for Kent as they've been for us so let's hope it's one of those days where 20 wickets fall.
Championship gone if we don't win this so may as well throw everything at it.
Have to say Lancs have had some rotten luck with tosses and conditions recently. Their two overseas bowlers have basically been able to bowl the entire innings.
