Huh, my post above showed up blank for some reason.
I was just saying that 250 seemed a decent crowd for the Rainford match. Although it was a semi.

Inspection 1.30 if no more rain Disappointed as I was looking forward to watching the whole thing on youtube as I'm home today nursing my mouth after having 2 wisdom teeth out yesterday afternoon. Watching gloucestershire vs warks on a website I know as I can't find it on youtube and they have no link on their site. Looks a bit gloomy there, hope there is no rain.

Yeah, that sucks. This is a league format, right? So they share the points? Must suck for Sedbergh too as they just want to put on a game and it be a good day for all involved. Same for any of the out grounds.

Yorkshire @ York York Cricket Club is an English amateur cricket club based in York. The club became a founding member of the Yorkshire Cricket League[1] in 1935. The club also has three teams in the York and District Senior Cricket League. York Cricket Club won the ECB National Club Cricket Championship in 1975 and 2012. The club coach is former Yorkshire and England player Jim Love.[2] The club is based at Clifton Park. The site also houses York Squash Club,[3] York Tennis Club,[4] and York Rugby Football Union Club[5] which together form the York Sports Club.[6] On 17 June 2019, their ground hosted the 2019 County Championship game between Yorkshire and Warwickshire. It was the first time that Yorkshire had played in York, since 1890. The club subsequently hosted two One-Day Cup games in 2021. www.yorkcricketclub.co.uk/cricket.lancashirecricket.co.uk/news/2022-news/lancs-announce-unchanged-squad-for-roses-clash/yorkshireccc.com/www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2633352

Blatherwick’s picked up a couple of wickets but he’s being carted all over. I’d rather have Bailey there.

Blatherwick’s picked up a couple of wickets but he’s being carted all over. I’d rather have Bailey there. I would like to see Bailey and Williams fit and rested for the final three championship games. I would play them in some of the RLC games but I think the right thing to do is to rotate the fast bowlers in these games. Disappointed that Bell isn't playing.

Is this cup thought of as the cricket equivalent of the league cup in football? This crap hundred competition really has gotten in the way for the counties.

Is this cup thought of as the cricket equivalent of the league cup in football? This crap hundred competition really has gotten in the way for the counties. Since the Hundred started there are so many players missing I see it has a development competition. Nice to win yes but also a chance to give some of the youngsters some first team cricket, I wouldn't sign an overseas for it.
