Just trying to work out what the make up of our side might be for this competition.

I know that last year we had ten or eleven players with Hundred contracts; does anyone have a list for this season?

Buttler Livingstone Wood Gleeson Mahmood, Parkinson Hartley off the top of my head in the 100, and Vilas injured.
Think the 4 day side that played against Kent with Lamb replacing Wood could be pretty close to the team

I would like to see Bell given a run in the side but I suspect he wont get in unless one of the batsmen is injured. I would also rest Bailey and Williams for some of the games to keep them fresh for the final three championship games which would give Blatherwick and Balderson some opportunities.

With so many players missing from every team, I see this as a development competition and we should use it to give some of the youngsters some first team experience.

I’d be thinking about using Crofty in a coaching role. Not sure who’s taking charge, Chapple was with the hundred last season

Our tossing ability isn’t bad in shorter games, (T20 W8 L9), it’s just the championship where we can’t win.

Hurt for Blatherwick? That’s one expensive bowler for another. I note Bailey not even in the squad.
