He looked equally at ease in the T20, agree that he has the potential to be a top player. Will we be able to keep hold of both Bell and Lavelle? Imagine both will want to take the gloves.

The Bell/ Lavelle thing reminds me of a situation we had a few years ago when we had two promising wicket keeper batsmen, Gareth Cross and John Simpson. Gareth Cross stayed and John Simpson joined Middlesex. Cross's career faded after a few seasons where as Simpson is still playing for Middlesex and had an England call up last year.

Crikey, I'd forgotten about Phil Salt. Jos Buttler, anyone?

More chance of me keeping than Buttler though

Crikey, I'd forgotten about Phil Salt. Jos Buttler, anyone? Agree. Would be surprised if he didn't get an IPL contract, so he'll miss the first tranche of matches next season. Hopefully we play both Lavelle and Bell and rotate the gloves between them. Rather we did that than sign another batsman from elsewhere tbh. They should both be playing CC cricket ahead of Jones, who looks better suited to white-ball at this point.

The 2 lads you mention gareth are both boundry hitters and score there runs a hell of a lot quicker than jones, There again Edrich and boycott scored there runs a lot quicker than jones,Both Lavelle and Bell should be regulars in all forms of cricket for lancs next season ,Under this management ship somehow i dont think the lads will be

With regards to Lavelle and Bell everyone is forgetting that Lancs base their players on maturing around 28/29 year's of age. Both of them have a few year's before they become first team regulars under the present management.

Jones captain of the 2s. Think Bohannon deserves another season at 3 but oppositions have worked out he’s an easy lbw candidate early in his innings.

What surprised me a bit Denno is that Bohannon, until the Essex game, was averaging 46 or 47 this season. Clearly his 1 and 0 have pulled it down, but it’s still over 40 so not a bad first class season.
