Keaton should bowl some of his mid pacers. 30 first class wickets.

Poor drop on the boundary by Northants. Lifeline for Bailey. *********** To be fair though, not such an easy take. Kerrigan impeded by still strong early September sun, directly in line with his take!

Pro players should be taking that, Esteban, you are being too kind. Same with Jones drop in slip.

Missed the first two days. I think the team selection has been, disappointingly but predictably, typical of the club culture which was being discussed earlier on the thread (i.e. an expression of the high value the club sets on the importance of hierarchy and seniority). Obviously, we should win from here but we scored nearly 550 in the reverse fixture and couldn't get them out. Their problem hasn't been lack of resistance in the 4th innings but lack of runs in the first - they haven't obtained a single batting point at Wantage Road. This pitch isn't a road like OT provided so we should have a better chance. The question is whether, once the shine is off the ball, Hartley can take wickets against a side who are not really trying to score. Don't think they could bowl a team of builders out at old Trafford, different on this pitch.

It was up in front of his face, both hands. For me he should catch that. Hopefully it doesn't end up too costly.

I’m glad we batted sensibly towards the end last night and didn’t go gung-ho to try and get an extra batting point and maybe throw a couple of wickets away. I would have picked Aspinwall for this game ahead of Blatherwick. Picked up ten wickets in the ODC, a better batsman and home-grown. With Blatherwick’s injury perhaps he’ll get a chance in one of the remaining games. According to the website he's also injured

I was in a meeting when Bailey took Keogh, was it with spin?
