Does anyone reckon we're going to draw this game safely enough? We're still 40 behind and on the basis of scoring around about 100 runs per session, we'd be 160 on at tea. If we were all out on the stroke of tea Kent would fancy a one-day type chase, especially if they needed a win to stay up.
I suppose though the weather may have a say in matters.

We have a good chance of drawing this after the 2nd innings start from Keaton and Luke. I suppose we could collapse in the morning, but the pitch seems to offer no threat and neither do Kents bowlers.

3 down in a very short space of time.

Yeah, 3 quick wickets. Seems to happen for Lancs one down and a few more follow.

Now 4 down- being bowled out by an occasional off-spinner. Pretty dismal they havent even made it to lunch yet and not much batting left in the tank.

You know, we've all been talking about not bowling sides out which has definitely been a problem. But consistency in batting has been average too for me.

5 wickets for 30 runs after that opening partnership is a desperately poor effort.

And there probably goes the match on the stroke of lunch. Really poor end to a season and era.

There were a few comments about Hurst getting his runs batting at 7, but surely theres a good chance the new ball might be faced batting at 7. Granted at 80 overs in, the bowlers will have lost some of their edge.

Doesn't look like they are playing to save the game. 59/6 with 60 overs to go. Over by tea?
Have to wonder what the lunch time talk was from coach and captain.

Kent commentators are incredibly negative saying the game is drifting to a draw. One more wicket then we are down to Blatherwick and Morley. Still 45 overs left Lancashire only 108 in front.
