Name all the people in the picture without google? Graveney, Edrich, Dexter, Cowdrey, Underwood, Knott, Snow then I want to say Brown and Inverarity plus one other Aussie, Gleeson maybe, and an umpire, Buller maybe they didn't tend to be famous in those days, can't think of any other umpires?

Correct on all Admin. I did have a fuller version of picture but can’t see how attach it.
Tried it but tells me file is too big . Illingworth, Milburn and d’Oliveira also on picture.

Milburn and D'Oliveira both at leg slip, leg gulley positions on the enlarged picture, Illingworth probably hiding having a ciggie

Robin Hobbs dies aged 81 Essex Belatedly relating my sadness at the news of Robin Hobbs passing away. I had a lovely conversation with him once at Colchester, I was there for Essex v. Gloucestershire. He was as interested in my views as I was in his, one of us an England leg spinner, the other a fan who has never played the game at any kind of level. His biography ("Hobbsy" I think) is a good read.
