Why doesn’t Balderson even get considered for the T20? This is his 5th season and he’s yet make his debut. There is a case for resting him. Balderson has bowled plenty of overs in the championship. I did hear a pre-season interview with him, where he was talking about how he had worked on his white ball skills during the winter. I have been wondering whether this was why he has been less consistent with the bat in the championship this season.
I often wonder what the priority is for young players breaking into the first team, when the financial rewards are skewed towards T20/ franchise cricket. Not sure 4 overs would have been too taxing!

Watching Thunder on Lancs TV and there are close to 6,000+ watching! Looking at the chat seem to be a lot of Indians betting on the game...

To be fair it's not just bowling four overs, it's an intensive game of cricket batting, bowling and fielding. Then there is the second game at Worcestershire tomorrow and another game at OT on Sunday against Derbyshire.

Team on BBC website has Jennings, Lavelle, Bailey and Morley left out of 14 man squad. Bell added in and Croft captaining.

Crushing win. Great knock by Wells. He probably feels better after that.

Pretty comprehensive win in seven overs - good for the NRR. Excellent bowling by everyone except Mitch Stanley, who looked a bit rusty. Poor batting by Durham, just standing there and swiping at balls rearing up from just short of a length. Croft and Blatherwick both took really good catches. Pleased for Wells but not for Bohannon, who played without footwork like the Durham batters. Maybe we won't lose at New Road tomorrow after all...
