Pitch suited our attack, all of whom have decent wheels. Before the game, looking at the conditions, I thought it was a mistake to leave out Bailey but clearly not. Great to see Crofty rolling back the years in the field. If Lavelle was fit and Bell was brought into the team from outside the squad that's really very unfair on Lavelle who must be wondering if he'll ever get another meaningful first team game despite being around the squad.

On paper this has got to be the worse 11 to represnt lancs in a 20/20 game .Hopefully wells finds a bit of form fingers crossed Well if that's our worst team they can give us the trophy now!🤣🤣 |

If this team settles into a winning rhythm, let's hope they don't get disrupted by the sudden arrival of Livingstone, Buttler et al as happened last year. Obviously, there will be pitches where we'll need at least one more spinner and I don't think we can just rely on Wells's part-time leggies. I thought Green looked good last night btw.

169-5 is good recovery from 13-3. Looks like a pace off pitch will be interesting to see how our attack responds. Might need some overs from Wells.
