Bohannon shouldn’t be anywhere near the T20 team; he only averaged 3 last season when overall he was in excellent form.
But with hitters Buttler, Livingstone and Salt all away, and Balderson and Lavelle seemingly not considered, it seems there’s little other choice.
Anyway, let’s see if our rookie attack can defy the odds two days n a row.
Good to see Croft getting some runs; is his contract just T20 or can he play in the ODC as well?

Bosh is trying to play bazball in all formats and to be blunt it isn't his game. A shame as be is an excellent red ball player agree t20 isn't his bag.

We were always behind in the game. I thought our fielding was off the mark. Don't think we'll be getting to the knockout stages with the likes of Blatherwick and Bohannon in the team. Good all round performance by Wells.

When three of the top four get ducks it's a lot to recover from.

Bosh is trying to play bazball in all formats and to be blunt it isn't his game. A shame as be is an excellent red ball player agree t20 isn't his bag. Re Bohannon. I actually commented on this forum about his T20 performances 2 years ago. He looks like a duck out of water, totally unsuited to the format , not helping the team and not helping himself. Before this season his stats were 28 matches, 132 runs, highest score 35, average 08.80. Those stats (and his confidence) are getting worse with each game he plays. What actually do the coaching staff see that 99.9% others can't? I would love to know especially as he doesn't offer anything else to the team.
Up to the start of this season Blatherwick has played 7 T20 matches taking 8 wickets at an economy of 09.42. He is still totally inconsistent, whether that will ever be knocked out of him god only knows, personally I doubt it. As Bohannon only offers his batting to the team, Blatherwick is in the team only for his bowling, last night Croft trusted him with just the one over.
If you leave the cupboard bare all you are left with are scraps...
* Update - Bohannon's average is now 07.88

Blatherwick got momentum into their reply and settled them down.
Has the odd decent performance like Thursday but the norm barely looks first class standard.
I suspect the lack of depth in our squad got him the 2 year contract renewal.

While I completely agree that Bohannon shouldn't be playing T20, I don't think we lost because of our batting. Having been put in on a damp, seaming pitch, we were always going to lose early wickets but we recovered well and posted a total that we should have been able to defend even though batting had become much easier. That we didn't defend it, and never looked like doing so in spite of the match going almost the full distance, was partly down to faulty team selection, partly down to some strange onfield decisions and mostly down to the way we bowled and fielded. Blatherwick played well on Thursday but is only any good on a fast pitch, something that has never been seen at New Road. His pace was nullified by the pitch and his lack of accuracy turned him into cannon fodder. His one over probably did more than anything else to lose the match. Bailey would have been much more effective (Lancs made exactly the same mistake at New Road last year). Not trusting Blatherwick, Croft was forced to bowl himself but neither he nor Green could exert any control and our 9 overs of spin went for 77 - 20 more than the 9 overs of spin bowled by Worcs. I don't think Aspinwall should have bowled the last over, especially as Stanley had two overs left and was bowling much better than he did on Thursday. Indeed, I don't understand why Stanley didn't bowl his full allocation, unless he was injured or feeling ill. I think this was one we threw away, not for the first time at New Road.

I see Bruce has an aeroplane by his name, perhaps he could catch one home this evening. I'm sure he is great in training like CDG and that's what matters according to people who really know the game like our Director of Cricket.
