I think it was a reckless approach with Lanc's long tail especially when Jennings got out. Warks only managed 13 overs in the 1st hour and could have gone even further defensive bowling wider and 10 on the boundary.

With Bruce and Hurst going well a win was not out of the question but it would have been a travesty.  Yet another match in which we have failed to post a respectable first innings total.  Yet another match in which we have been second best to a quite ordinary side.

Be fair John W. He didn’t have the worst bowling figures either; Luke Wood managed that.

With trash cricket to come for a few weeks, gave myself a whole day of watching real cricket even though there were many other things I should have done. Great to see that Yorks’ captaincy is as inept as Lancs’.
