I wonder how many wickets they will lose before they overhaul our score. Two if we’re lucky? It’s alright saying regroup in the second division and come back stronger, but won’t it be just the same people at the top? Kevin Howell talking as though it's a certainty we'll come straight back if/when relegated. I agree, without a change at the top I certainly will not anticipate an immediate return. The sympathetic tone of the Somerset commentator, Anthony Gibson, as those last few wickets tumbled was painful.

I think Balderstone is our best bowler moving ahead of Bailey now.

Good comeback after Somerset seemed to be coasting along. The slightly older ball seems to be doing more than the brand new one, as it did when Lancs batted. Let's hope the trend continues.

Rew has been a thorn in our side of late, let’s hope for some luck against him.

You feel that the post tea session could decide the whole match. If they bat all the overs they'll be 40+ in front with more power to add tomorrow. Take the 6 remaining wickets and it's even steven... then we'll probably get docked points from the pitch inspector!

This won’t last 4 days Our games rarely do nowadays. interesting how we were 70 for 2 and seeming relatively comfortable, and they were 58 for 1 and not too troubled.

I think Balderstone is our best bowler moving ahead of Bailey now. His bowling has improved this season but it seems to be at the expense of his batting. I think he was a better cricketer last season.

Well, well, well...are pitch inspectors still around? I suppose they are but there have been a lot of wickets at other venues, notably Edgbaston. What about slow over rates; shouldn’t the day’s play have ended about an hour sooner? A great fightback, but a bit of a bummer to have to bat at half ten again!
