Lancs guaranteed a home QF (but where and when) Lancs - 18pts Notts - 15pts (2 to play) Worcs - 14pts (2 to play) Derby - 14pts (1 to play) Durham - 10pts (2 to play) could sneak in to top 4 if win their last two and Worcs and Derby lose their matches.
Only one of Notts and Worcs can catch Lancashire as they play eachother on Wednesday night.

Quarter final at Sedbergh then Cockermouth
Never forget were you are from, he has been a bit of loose cannon at times still remember when Durham played at Southport after the game Stokes had an impromptu game of cricket on the outfield with spectators after the game also since his night out in Bristol he has matured as an individual

Rained all day, no cricket to watch, nothing to keep him there after the presentation, but spent about 6 or 7 hours there. Time for everyone.

Lancs charging a quid to print your own ticket at home another of those epic failures those in charge inflict on supporters Kent sign Du Plessis for last few games of the Blast. Thought that may have been an option for us, if we are really losing Maxwell and Faulkner.

Home quarter final to be played at Chester le Street not far from Sedbergh almost right From the club website:
"Lancashire Lightning can now confirm that it’s home quarter-final will be played at Emirates Riverside, the home of Durham Cricket (date and opponents TBC). The Club as a whole, including input from Head Coach Glen Chapple, Captain Dane Vilas and Director of Cricket Paul Allott, came to a collective decision as Lancashire aim to take their place in a record eighth Finals Day in 16 years.
By agreeing with Durham to hold the match at Emirates Riverside, Lancashire is able to work closely with Durham to assist with the pitch and ground preparations, and have the choice of three quality international pitches. Floodlights are a prerequisite condition and a necessity for Sky Sports TV coverage, and Durham have confirmed that Emirates Old Trafford ground staff will assist in the preparation of the pitch.
Lancashire have had no option but to look at every possible venue, including out-grounds and playing at the away ground, but the Club was not willing to cede home advantage to our opponents for the quarter-final. The Lancashire players confirmed that they were more comfortable playing at Emirates Riverside than any other alternative venue, with the team having won its last seven Vitality Blast fixtures at Durham."
Presumably the silence was broken today, as Derbyshire winning effectively put Durham out.
One wonders, whether technically the club as a whole, would include its members.
I see more free coach travel is being organised. Practice makes perfect

You do wonder if the clown who was responsible for announcing that yesterday’s game was at Riverside, had been told about the quarter-final announcement before it was official and got things mixed up.

You do wonder if the clown who was responsible for announcing that yesterday’s game was at Riverside, had been told about the quarter-final announcement before it was official and got things mixed up. Probably yes. It is appalling. It’s beyond my understanding. What was wrong in setting aside the day after the Test Match for the final game ? I know that I am probably in a minority, but whether it be cricket or rugby (Sale) I support my team. I watch international games ( on tv only) because theoretically they have the best players playing, but I really don’t care who wins unless I think it’s good for the sport (or England are playing Ireland and I am expecting to be tormented by my wife. Of course the torment isn’t real, but she thinks it is! The rugby was fantastic on Saturday!!) Some time ago, I asked the Club not to send me e-mails relating to International Ticket Sales. I can’t remember whether they took no notice or whether they said that they couldn’t take me off the Internationals list without removing me from all lists. I think I will try again, to register a protest if nothing else.
