If you'd said that Parkinson had been poor in the last two CC games, I'd have agreed with you (and maybe you were right that Morley should have played) but you said he'd been poor "all season". Did you think that he was poor on Saturday? I didn't mean to seem superior and I'm sorry if I gave that impression.

I dont think the lads bowled with any Rhythm all season i also think hes bowling to far to slow , Being sat on his arse in the england dressing hasnt helped . I honestly thought this kid was going to be the real deal , He hasnt come on as much as i thought he would . lets hope he has a strong finish to the season starting tomorrow . |

Well reconciled chaps and well intervened Admin. Internet ,useful though it is, can polarise people who would happily chat next to each other in the ground. You’ve both got good points to make. I always think you should try to use momentum in a performance very early in a young player’s ( Morley) career but yes, can’t write off Parkinson’s contribution to early season even if he is looking tired at present.

Yes very good morning for Lancs but chasing anything on this rapidly deteriorating pitch won't be easy. Need to get the last three cheaply and then score as fast as possible before the effect of the heavy roller wears off. After that it will be a procession of wickets either lbw or bowled. Could be exciting...
