Well you wonder with OT's reputation for bad weather it might be better to hold the 1st or 2nd test of a series at OT.
A draw in the 1st or 2nd game shouldn't decide a series like the draw in the 4th did yesterday.. |

I know it is the Sun, but they said today that no team has EVER won a test at old Trafford after winning the toss and bowling first. Staggering if true, does anybody know if it is? |

Australia 61 for 1 (Khawaja 26*, Labuschagne 2*) trail England 283 (Brook 85, Starc 4-82) by 222 runs
Scored at 5 an over all out Australia could now bat for the next two and a half days scoring at a slower rate and probably win series 3-1 alsp Cummins won toss so there is zero chance of England chasing a total to win

Bazball may not be to everyone’s taste, but turn the clock back 40 years or so and look what we might have watched; Boycott and Tavare plodding to 40 for 1 at lunch.

I know Jimmy said he ain't retiring any time soon, and I think he could still do a job for Lancs in the CC for a bit. Stokes and McCullum will have to make the decision for England, I don't see Jimmy retiring internationally if he isn't going to completely.

Jimmy says he has a lot to give ; so he does, as a bowling coach ( please not a head coach). Chapple should have stuck to being a bowling coach.
