Excellent day for the Red Rose. Hope Balderson gets his 100 tomorrow. I have watched a fair bit of the stream over the last two days the commentators don't seem to be aware that Blatherwick is injured.

I saw Scott Read this morning and the expression on his face wasn't telling me he is aware of much. Pitch is flat with just a semblance of turn,Northants bowling attack is barely second division standard. Hard graft to get 10 wickets second innings required. |

Fairly confident Bohannon must be our leading run scorer this summer .perhaps should be voted player of the seaon?

They've been good though, talked about Lancs a lot when they could easily stick to the home side. |

Factor in we are a bowler down in very hot conditions too. Wells and Bell may have to both do a shift at some point.

I think we let this game run it's course at the moment. There's still 192 overs guaranteed because of the fine weather. Hopefully get through the first half hour without losing any wickets then runs will come. As anyportinthestorm has said we are a bowler down so we need as many runs as possible because today is forecast to be hotter than yesterday and yesterday was seriously hot, our 3 main line bowlers will be tested in those conditions. It is bloody hot just watching it!
