Pathetic. Lawrence bowled 8 overs fc for essex last season we are making him look like jim laker. Too many all rounders not enough proper batsmen. |

Bruce may as well bat there as he is our overseas bell at 5 and balderson at 6 looks more secure imho. If bell keeps we can fit in another bowler i suppose. |

Need to throw Lyon on from the start when Lancs bowl. Lancashire going to be in trouble this year, if they keep producing pitches where the captains decide to bowl spin from over 10 let alone then open the bowling with their spinners. 9 wickets to spin effectively on Day 1. Pitch inspectors due?
Lawrence's career best bowling, and Tom Hartley now has to prove that England were right to play him in India rather than Dan Lawrence.
150/2 to 202 all out. 4 overs left to play, 2 each for Lyon and Hartley.
