Balderson looks like a quality batsman to me. I'm sure we'll knock that out of him. Hope he gets his hundred, but I've seen loads of players play well in the final session of a day only to get out cheaply the next morning. Well done Tom Bailey, but with all due respect to him, the pitch can't be that bad if he can score 75. It might be more difficult to bowl Warwicks out than some think. I agree that Aspinwall should have played rather than Lamb. Bob todd should of played instead of lamb ,And he past away 20 year ago |

As Mir showed this morning, what is so obviously missing from our attack on this dreadfully slow pitch is a bowler who is fast through the air. Instead we have Danny Lamb, who has had a miserable match so far. Very odd selection.
I think Warwickshire are a bit lucky to be only five down. Rhodes, especially, played a whole string of poor shots but ended up as top scorer (so far). All a bit academic as it looks pretty certain that there won't be any play on Saturday.

I thought Wells was very unlucky the decisions in both innings to be fair.
Salt looks better suited to number 6 after keeping.
Bell hasn't had much cricket in the last few months and he has lost his early season form.
Balderson gets in the team purely for his batting and his omission at Blackpool is even more baffling.
Wells and Morley bowled well this morning and created some pressure which their lower order couldn't handle.
Such a shame the forecast is so poor tomorrow.
