Strikes me he's angling towards franchise cricket rather than Grace Road in April. Don't you need a previous good record? How can you play for a franchise without bowling. Maybe he can use the nets at OT. If he plays for Lancs he can play in the Blast. With his name he could get a gig anywhere |

I think if he doesn't get an IPL gig he will have no choice but to play for Lancs. Michael Vaughan thinks he will get chosen by CSK. So after the 24/25 November he will make his decision unless the ECB offer him further coaching. Thought he might have been asked that question at his book signing talks. |

I wonder if its because he want guaranteed playtime, or Lancs want guaranteed play commitment from him? Surely it can't be money. |
